  7. Early termination, non-use, or partial use does not entitle the User to any refund, credit, or extension, unless required by law or expressly authorized in writing by the Website.

5.3 Cancellation by the Website

The Website may, at its sole discretion, suspend, limit, or terminate a User’s subscription, membership, or access to services under the conditions outlined in the Termination, Suspension, and Account Deactivation clause, including:

No refund or compensation applies if termination results from a User’s breach of these Terms, applicable law, or policy violations.

If termination occurs solely due to the Website’s discontinuation of a service for all Users, a service extension may be issued at the Website’s discretion.

5.4 Automatic Renewal

  1. Subscription-based services renew automatically unless properly cancelled in compliance with this Policy and Section 4.5 of the Payment Terms.
  2. Renewal charges apply at the current rate at the time of renewal.
  3. Users must maintain accurate and valid billing and contact information.
  4. Payments processed for renewal are final and non-refundable.
  5. Renewal notifications may be sent as a courtesy but are not mandatory unless required by law.
  6. The Website bears no responsibility for failed or delayed cancellation where proper notice was not received.

5.5 Non-Refundable Fees

Unless expressly required by applicable law or approved in writing by UniGreece.com, the following are strictly non-refundable:

5.5.1 No Refunds for Early Termination or Non-Use
Refunds are not granted for:

5.5.2 No Refunds for Downtime or Maintenance
Temporary service interruptions, maintenance, technical delays, or verification holds do not constitute grounds for refund, extension, or credit.
The Platform shall not be held liable for unavailability, maintenance, or delays required to preserve technical, legal, or operational integrity.

5.6 Refund Eligibility – Limited Exceptions

5.6.1 General Principle

All payments made to the Website are final and non-refundable, except as expressly provided in these Terms or required by applicable law.
Refunds or credits are granted only in exceptional circumstances, never as a general right of withdrawal or cancellation, and must be submitted in writing for verification by UniGreece.com.
Users are responsible for reviewing their subscription plan, billing period, and applicable terms before completing any purchase.
Cancellation, refund, or downgrade requests that do not meet the conditions below shall not qualify for any reimbursement, credit, or compensation.

5.6.2 Eligible Cases for Refund

Refunds may be considered only in the following situations:

a. Duplicate Payment
If the User is charged twice for the same subscription period or plan due to a verified system or payment-processor error, the duplicate amount will be refunded within thirty (30) business days after verification, net of any applicable bank or transaction fees.

b. Invalid VAT Number (VIES Verification Failure)
If an EU-based business User’s VAT number fails validation in the EU VIES system, making the transaction ineligible for B2B invoicing, a refund may be issued upon written request within thirty (30) days of payment, net of payment-processor or banking fees.

c. Cancellation Prior to Activation
If a plan or paid service is cancelled before activation and before any content submission, and the request is received the same day of payment, a refund may be issued after deduction of administrative or transaction fees.

d. Website Error or Service Failure
If activation or delivery of a paid service is temporarily affected due to a verified technical, administrative, or maintenance issue solely attributable to the Website, no monetary refund shall apply.
Instead, the Website may, at its sole discretion, provide a reasonable or service extension or equivalent credit to compensate for the period of interruption.

The duration of such an extension shall be determined proportionally to the User’s subscription term, for example:
• Weekly plans – up to 2 days extension;
• Monthly plans – up to 10 days extension;
• Annual plans – up to 1 month extension.

Extensions or credits shall constitute the sole and exclusive remedy for service interruptions, temporary unavailability, or delays, and shall not entitle the User to any monetary compensation, refund, or damages.

e. Permanent Discontinuation of Service
In the unlikely event that the Website permanently ceases operations or discontinues paid services for all Users; no new paid subscriptions shall be accepted. Existing active subscriptions shall remain valid until their scheduled expiration date. No partial or pro-rata refunds shall be issued.

f. Force Majeure
The Website shall not be liable for any failure, interruption, delay, or suspension of service resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, network or hosting failures, or force-majeure events occurring in the Website’s country of operation, the User’s country of establishment, or the country of the hosting provider.
In such cases, no refund, compensation, or extension is required or due.

g. Legal Requirement
Where a refund is mandated by applicable law (e.g., under Greek or EU B2B provisions), it will be limited strictly to the amount actually paid for the specific disputed plan or billing period.

5.7 Cancellation or Refund Request Procedure

Users seeking cancellation or refund (if eligible) must send a written request to:
support@UniGreece.com

Requests should be submitted at least three (3) business days before renewal and must include:

If the Website elects to discontinue a service entirely for all Users, it may first provide a reasonable notice period allowing existing subscriptions or listings to reach expiration.
No new subscriptions, renewals, upgrades, or paid listings shall be accepted or processed during the notice period.

Upon full discontinuation, — or upon expiration of the notice period or the end of any active subscription, whichever occurs first — all remaining accounts and related services shall expire automatically. No further refunds, credits, or compensations shall be due, to any User.

Users are responsible for exporting data before account termination.
The Website shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising from termination or discontinuation provided reasonable notice has been given.
