Maria-Christina is a BPS Chartered Psychologist, a registered EuroPsy Psychologist and a BACP registered counsellor.

She applies the Person-Centered Approach in Counselling focusing on self-development and self-actualisation. She is also trained in Cognitive-Behavioural therapy and always tries to blend these two approaches together. She has extensive clinical experience having worked for a number of years with clients in a variety of different settings (e.g., university, clinic of chronic conditions, prevention centre, athletic teams, privately).

Maria-Christina is an associate professor of Psychology at the University and she offers online counselling in the evenings. Her goal is to provide counselling and support to anyone who feels overwhelmed and is having a hard time.

Maria-Christina has experience dealing with anxiety, relationship issues, low mood, lack of purpose, bereavement, low self-esteem. She has also an expertise and a special interest in working with women who have experienced pregnancy related issues such as a miscarriage or baby loss, or couples who experience infertility and have a hard time conceiving. She also has extensive training in stress management (e.g., progressive muscle relaxation) and mental skills training (e.g., visualisation).
